Engagement photography session - cloisters castle - baltimore, maryland.
Cloisters Castle is an unique venue located just outside of Baltimore. We’ve photographed a couple of weddings there and we have a few more coming up! I loved T & C idea to have their engagement session at the same place as their wedding. This was an awesome opportunity to take photos in rooms that are typically filled with wedding guests! I was especially excited to see the property during fall!
Cloisters was busy the morning of the engagement session: they were setting up for a wedding, giving a tour to a couple, and conducting a rehearsal for the wedding for the next day. It was no problem weaving around those happenings to get to the places we wanted for photos like the spiral stairs, windmill, the chapel room, and of course the front of the castle! The sun was peaking in and out, but it was a beautiful fall day—perfect for an engagement session.
We then headed to Mount Vernon in Baltimore for a change of scenery for the engagement session! By then, the sky was blue and the sun was shining. The outfit changes were perfect for this location! I especially loved the custom jean jacket. We walked all over the Mt. Vernon area, dodging buses, before heading over to the iconic Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church. From there, we looped back a different direction to get back to where we started.
I’m so pleased with the engagement photos from Cloisters Castle and Mount Vernon in Baltimore. T & C were awesome and create instant magic in photos. I’m patiently waiting for their wedding… which I know is going to be a BLAST!
