Wedding Photography - linganore winecellars - Frederick, maryland
My wedding from this past weekend had the most perfect fall weather! K & T got married at Linganore Winecellars near Frederick, Maryland. This winery has been a staple in the area for a while and provides the “official mead” for the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Any time I get to photograph at Linganore Winecellars is a big win for me, I was thrilled to be back.
The bride found me through her coworker. I had shot the coworkers engagement session in 2019 and their wedding in 2020. When I met the bride and groom on video call, I knew we’d be a good fit. They were super chill. The couple was planning a low-key wedding, with yummy food and great wine at a beautiful venue and wanted great photos to document their day.
I arrived as the bride was getting her hair done by a beloved friend. The groom was tucked in a different building so I snuck the beautiful dress outside for a few photos against the red backdrop of the Red Shedman Farm Brewery building. Shortly after that, it was time to get the dress on and head to the ceremony site on the west lawn which sits on top of a hill near the vineyard. The bride wore her mother’s pearls, and it complimented the detailed beading of her wedding gown.
She was escorted by both dad and step-dad to the west lawn. The bride’s brother officiated the wedding with their closest friends and family in attendance. The sun filled the sky. The cool autumn wind was so refreshing after a hot summer. It was a beautiful mid-September day!
After the ceremony, I grabbed the couple for a few photos before heading back to the Abisso Hall at Linganore Winercellars for the reception. Abisso Hall is a converted barn adorned with fun string lights that make for fun photos. The couple mingled and chatted with their guests before I grabbed them once more for photos outside. Dinner was served and then the cake was cut.
I captured the newlyweds while they had a celebratory cigar with friends and family right before I left for the evening. I’m so happy K & T found me and I was able to share their special day with them.
